Lalita Babar: Promoting Sports

Lalita Babar is an Indian long distance runner.

She predominantly competes in the 3000 metres steeplechase and is the current Indian national record holder.

She was selected for Rio Olympics 2016 and performed well in it.

Dream social foundation supported Lalita in her sports career. We started campaign for her.

We arranged Marathon named ‘Run for Lalita’, and the response was overwhelming, it was bigger than usual response for Delhi marathon.

We collected money provided everything that she wanted and encouraged her to get medal in Athletics. She finished 10th in the women's 3000m steeplechase finals in the Rio Olympics.

We celebrated her accomplishment with procession. Now, she is promoting sport in rural area through Drream Social Foundation.
