food aid to workers and labourers affected by corona in drought prone areas of satara district

Our country and state are currently going through a terrible crisis of corona disease. The crisis of corona virus is becoming more serious day by day.
People have been in lockdown for over a month now. Both Maan and Khatav talukas in Maharashtra are in perpetual drought. People do not have water so they do not have good education and low income. Therefore, people in these drought prone areas are working in the country as well as in the state in places like Mumbai-Pune etc, where they are working as painters, porters, carpenters, drivers, millers etc.
Corona virus has become prevalent in big cities like Mumbai and Pune, so all these hardworking people have come back to their hometowns. The lack of manual labour has increased their anxiety about their daily meals. The sugarcane workers who have come from the rest of the district to cut sugarcane are stuck here.
Out of a sense of humanity and work hand in hand to help these poor labourers, to overcome the corona by providing them with food, Dream Social Foundation is an NGO working in drought prone areas to uplift the living standards of the people in the fields of agriculture, water conservation, health, education etc,The Dream Social Foundation worked to reach out to every needy person. It is also raising awareness on how to avoid corona. Both Man and Khatav talukas are Drought affected. There are 190 villages in both the talukas including three municipalities. In these villages we have distributed essential kit as follows.
1. Total village = 187
2. municipalities = 3
3. Total food kits = 6,500.
(Each kit includes ; Sugar = 2 kg ; Turdal = 1 kg, Vegetable oil = 1 lit, Tea powder = 250 gm, Lifebuoy soap - 1 no, Wheel laundry soap - 2 no.)
